The controller for data processing on this website under the GDPR is:
Christoph Heiders, Amplicity (trading name)

2. Hosting and server log files
This website and our mailboxes are hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Cologne, Germany, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data is processed in data centres within the EU.
When you visit the website, the web server automatically processes:
- the IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- the page or file requested and the amount of data transferred
- the referrer URL, browser type and operating system
This processing is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website. Log files are kept only as long as needed for these purposes and then deleted.
3. Contact form and email
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, optionally company, phone number and area of interest, and your message) in order to respond to your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a possible engagement, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Form submissions are not stored on the web server; they are sent directly by email to our mailbox at Host Europe. To prevent abuse, we keep a non-reversible hash of your IP address for at most one hour to limit the number of submissions per sender. Enquiries are deleted once they have been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Fonts, cookies and tracking
All fonts are hosted on our own server; visiting this website does not open a connection to Google or any other third-party server.
This website does not set cookies, does not store information on your device and does not use analytics or tracking tools.

- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and
